Concerns and Complaints Procedure

If you are not satisfied with any aspect of the Academy, please let us know.

If the concern involves your child, for example:

  • An issue about learning – Please contact your child’s Achievement Year Leader in the first instance.
  • An issue about behaviour - Please contact your child’s Pastoral Year Leader in the first instance.

If the concern involves a member of staff or other Academy issue, please contact Sue Limb, the Academy Complaints Coordinator, via the Academy Reception or in writing.

If you are unable to resolve the problem your concerns will be passed to a member of the Senior Leadership Team by the Complaints Coordinator.  During the next stage of investigating the complaint, the Academy Principal may ask an Academy Councillor for help to resolve the issue.

Please be assured that we will:

  • Treat your complaint seriously
  • Respond to your concern
  • Try our best to resolve the issue

Any representation to the Academy Council must be in writing to the Complaints Coordinator.
